Fundraising
FEED THE FAMILY!!!
1. CiCi's Pizza Night: 3rd Tuesday and Wednesday every other month opposite Chic-Fil-A. Time: 5-9pm. $5 large carry-out and well as dine-in. Specifiy your with HES. School receives 10% HES dine-in or $1 per carry-out pie! 10900 University City Blvd., Wexford Plaza, Charlotte. 704-510-5595.
2. Chick-fil-A Night: 1st Tuesday every other month opposite CiCi's. 5:30-7:30pm. School recievs 10% total orders within timeframe! Concord Mills Location.
3. Sonic Night: 2nd Tuesday 5545 Hwy 49 S, Harrisburg. 5p-9p. School receives 10% of total sales!
ACTIVITIES!!!
1. Martial Arts Training International in Harrisburg (demonstrate at the Fall Festival). 2nd Friday monthly. Class 6:30-7:15pm. $10 1st child, $8 additional. School recieves $2/child.
2. Monkey Joe's in University. 3rd Friday monthly from 3pm - close. Kids admission $5, $2 consessions (pizza, nachos, soft pretzel, free give-a-ways and Wi-Fi. School receives 20% of admissions AND concessions.
3. Frye's Skate Night - 2 events. Thursday, October 29 and Tuesday March 30. School benefit to be announced later.
4. NASCAR TICKETS!

1. Kelly O'Shea's Dance in Harrisburg. Ages 3-13 (NO December). 1st Friday monthly 6-10pm. $15 1st child, $12 2nd, 3 or more kids=$35 total. Includes pizza, drinks, chips, water and instruction. School receives $3/child. Call ahead to register and pay. Max 60 students.
2. Prodigy All-Stars (formerly Elite). Ages 6-teen (NO December). 3rd Saturday monthly 6-10pm. $10 1st child, $8 2nd, $6 3rd. No food provided, but can buy from consession or bring snack. School receives 50% of admissions.
SHOPPING!!! (Must re-link cards each year)
1. Harris Teeter: Link your Harris Teeter VIC Card (this needs to be re-linked every school year) to HES. To link your VIC Card, give the cashier your VIC Card with our school code # 1575. You may also link your VIC Card by going to the Harris Teeter website. Through Harris Teeter’s Together in Education Program, our school earns 1% of your purchases when using your Harris Teeter VIC Card.
2. Food Lion: Link your MVP Card to HES at the Food Lion customer service desk. You may also link your MVP Card by going to the Food Lion website. Through Food Lion’s LionShop & Share program, our school earns 1% of your purchases when using your Food Lion MVP card.
3. Bloom: Link your Breeze Card to HES at the customer service desk of any Bloom grocery store. Our 5 digit school code is 00274. Using Bloom’s Breeze card, you receive 1% of your purchases back in a coupon good for Bloom. If you link your Breeze Card to HES, that 1% will go to the school instead.
4. Harris Teeter Milk Challenge: Save caps from Harris Teeter or Hunter Farms brand milks in either ½ gallon or Gallon sizes. Harris Teeter will give $.50 per cap up to $1,000.00. The drop box for milk caps is located in the lobby by the school office door. Promotion runs from August 2008 through May 2009.
5. Target: Designate your Target Credit Card or Target REDcard to HES. To designate HES for your Target REDcard or Credit Card, call customer service (800) 316-6142 or go to the Target website. Our school id is #79594. Through Target’s Take Charge of Education program, our school earns 1% of your purchases when using your Target REDCard.

Cabarrus County Schools have been invited to participate in the Lowe's Motor Speedway "Fund-Racing" program. Our school will receive $10 back for every ticket bought to either the Dollar General 300 (Oct. 16th) or the NASCAR Banking 600 (Oct. 17th). In addition to this, the tickets are at a discounted rate. The NASCAR Banking 600 tickets will be $30 (regular price $49) and the Dollar General 300 tickets are $20 (regular price $25). If you would like to take advantage of these savings AND earn some money for our school, please call LMS Ticket Sales at 704.455.4472, ask for Alex Hoag and mention your with Harrisburg Elementary School. For questions, please contact LMS directly at the number provided. Enjoy the races!

Matching Funds Database
Many companies/corporations/foundations offer matching gift programs, whereby they will match your charitable gifts. You can inquire with your human resources office to find out if your company has a matching gift program. If so, simply fill out the form provided by your company and include it with your donation to the Harrisburg Elementary School PTA.

Application for Minor Fundraiser
If your business or organization is interested in partnering with Harrisburg Elementary School in our fundraising efforts, you must complete an minor fundraising application. The application is available on our PTA Documents website. Click HERE to open that page, and then simply click the folder for Minor Fundraising and download the PDF file called "HES Application for Minor Fundraising".
